yesterday sucked ass

yeah so the day started off with my bag breaking, dumping my shit everywhere, the fucking librarian didnt have the damn test i was supposed to do for math so i couldnt take it, so hopefully the absent minded idiotic math teacher

then for my advertising concepts class,(in this class we were presented with a client, who was the conductor of the local orchestra, we were told to re-brand the orchestras corporate identity,so we split into groups. Each team was to come up with there own plan.for the logo, business package, TV spot, promotional items, fundraising ideas, revamp there concert poster, email blasts and even social media pages.) This was supposed to be a TEAM project. one of the members in my group was gone for 4 weeks, (one week i wont count since her grandma passed, but the other 3 were just excuses) So basically John and i did the logo by ourselves because she was gone, and then he started working on the TV spot, and i did everything else. And the entire time our instructor was hounding us, because we weren't turning out the amount of work we were supposed to have each week, well go figure, john kept forgetting his shit, and Anna was never there.anyways the shit gets done at least, and i was a nice person i didn't flip out or freak out or lose my temper on either of them, when i wanted to.......so last night.

i had to pay for ALL the colored prints for our process books(one for the instructor, one for the client and because our group was having so many issues, we each personally had to turn in a process book of our personal work on the project. Works out in my advantage since i did everything)but they didnt kick in the money cost me 22 dollars in colored prints.,both of them knew at the beginning of class that i am on a very limited budget, that i live pay check to pay check.to make matters worse John didnt have anything done, and didnt give us his digital files for the presentation, that Anna ended up fucking up by ALL the WRONG FUCKING PHOTOS, in the damn power point, and then they made ME fucking do 90% of the damn presentation,Needless to say, they didnt like our work, said it was generic and had nothing to do with a world class orchestra, but they liked the poster and the t shirt design that i did, and the shitty deck of cards that She tossed in at the last moment.

on top of everything that went wrong, my step-dad forgot that he was supposed to pick me up. he was about 45 minutes late :(

Happy New Year! Extreme Rant!

Yeah i think this is where i am going to make my new years resolution. Because after some long hard thinking over the last couple of weeks of break, i have decided i am going to start fading out some of the people that say they are friends but aren't true friends. The ones that make plans and dont follow through. The ones that i call up and say hey whatcha doing this coming up weekend, and i make attempt to do something and they blow me off. I am so tired of it. I play nice and cool when they blow me off, but they never say i'm sorry or say hey something came up they dont even fucking call.

Yeah i get that your married, or you got work, or you got kids, or you got a bad combination of the 3 or whatever the situtation may be. I can work around your schedule, i always have. I am a true loyal friend, wont talk shit behind your back, wont steal your man, wont steal from you, ill answer your phone call 3.am when your crying about something that happened. I listen to your whining about your man, or his ex. the dogs the kids, the ttc conversations. I listen to those that are having baby's basically rub it in my face. when i say politely can we change the subject. they just keep talking about the same shit they were talking about. Hell im not perfect, i am far from it, i know i am boring as hell and sometimes bossy. i try not to be. I know i put a damper on every party because im the chick with the oxygen, always wonder if somethings gonna happen. I know you dont like shopping with me because i walk slow or whatever. But i listen, and i hold you and i help you and im there for you. HOW BOUT FUCKING ASKING ABOUT ME FOR A CHANGE! Asking how i am doing, when you see me silently looking like i am about cry. Come put your arm around me and give me a slight hug. Seriously if i stopped for 1 minute being ME and acted like some of you treat me or your other friends. The world would be a cold and dark place..... So yea with the new year here and now. I am going to make time for those who matter most. Those who make time for me and my family. Yeah i have a family i got a sexy lil hubby and two tiny kitties ant much right now but they are mine. And they love me.

Beautiful Poem

Do not stand at my grave and weep is a poem written in 1932 by Mary Elizabeth Frye.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave bereft
I am not there. I have not left.

This beautiful poem made me feel content for the ones i have lost recently and i felt like sharing.

A SOLDIER'S CHRISTMAS

A SOLDIER'S CHRISTMAS

Soldiers Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas, he lived all alone,
in a one bedroom house made of plaster and stone.

I had come down the chimney with presents to give,
and to see just who in this little house lived.

As I looked all about, a strange sight I did see,
No tinsel, no presents, not even a tree.

No Stockings by mantle, just boots filled with sand,
On the wall hung pictures of far distant lands.

With medals and badges, awards of all kinds,
A sobering thought came through my mind.

For this house was different, it was dark and dreary,
The home of a soldier, I could now see clearly.

The soldier lay sleeping, silent, alone,
Curled up on the floor in this one bedroom home.

The face was so gentle, the room in such disorder,
Not how I picture a United States Soldier.

Was this the hero of whom I'd just read?
Curled up on a poncho, the floor for a bed?

I realized the families that I saw this night,
owed their lives to these soldiers who were willing to fight.

Soon round the world, the children would play,
and grownups would celebrate a bright Christmas day.

They all enjoyed freedom each month of the year,
because of the soldiers, like the one lying here.

I couldn't help wondering how many lay alone,
on a cold Christmas Eve in a land far from home.

The very thought brought a tear to my eye,
I dropped to one knee and started to cry.

The soldier awakened and I heard a rough voice,
"Santa don't cry, for this life is my choice".

I fight for freedom, I don't ask for more,
My life is my God, my country, my corps."

The soldier rolled over and drifted to sleep,
I couldn't control it, I continued to weep.

I kept watch for hours, so silent and still,
as we both shivered from the cold night's chill.

I didn't want to leave, on that cold, dark night,
this guardian of honor, so willing to fight.

Then the soldier rolled over, with a voice soft and pure,
whispered, "Carry on Santa...., It's Christmas Day...., All is secure.

One look at my watch, and I knew he was right,
Merry Christmas my friend.... and to all a Good Night.

Retrospect.

Man just seems like this year has flown by, with everything. I cant believe its already less then two weeks until Christmas. A lot of things have happened in the past year. A lot of happy moments, and some not happy at all. We got married in March, it was beautiful, the backyard was turned into a magical place. My baby sister Graduated, then grandma got sick and we lost her :( I struggled through school with the grief. Still having a hard time with it. We went to see Toby Keith in concert, with Trace Adkins & James Otto. In that same week we also saw Ted Nugent both were really cool, i was dead tired after all that. Then the unthinkable happened we lost grandma Irene to an aneurysm. Three short months after loosing Grandma Bieker we lost Grandma Irene. The family is visibly shaken up, i thank the heavens that Robert was here for me during all of this, i certainly needed him. We moved into our own apartment at the beginning of sept, and adopted two cute little black kittens. Spooky & Spunky, only a couple months apart but balls of fun for sure. Now with the year coming to a close, i am curious to find out what 2011 has in store for us.
